It wasn't surprising when Universal the game license for the 1983 mob classic Scarface to Radical Entertainment. After all, this 230-strong developer from Vancouver, Canada has had a couple of mega-hit titles, such as The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction and The Simpsons: Road Rage, both of which were fun romps in established worlds.
Not surprisingly, Radical hit another homer with Scarface: The World Is Yours. Released last fall for both the Xbox and PlayStation 2, the game scored well with critics ― a rarity for movie-based licenses. This week, Nintendo gamers get their stab at Tony Montana, and thanks to Wii controls and a more polished experience, the Wii version might just be the best of 'em all.
